think I did more harm than good...
by darth frosty injust got off the phone with mil my wife handed it to me to help her mother play a dvd.. she was trying to play it on her computer and i dont even know if its capable.
it seems she needs to watch the 'faith in action pt 2 dvd for the theoschool/service/bs whatever meeting.
not being able to help her i just located the vid on youtube and emailed her the link.. .

Of course its damage control. Think of all the things we could do that made it bearable growing up a JW?
We had REAL food at the assemblies and conventions, we had congregation picnics, we could have gatherings, hell back in the day a CO visit would have actual service talks based on our congo's!
Dont get me wrong GROWING UP a dub SUCKED! But it was much better than the abuse heaped upon those still in trying to stay the course.

This WT (as are most) Is loaded with NLP techniques and language reframing arguments against the readers mind.

i falsified reports, had fake rv's, told groups i was meeting up with other groups and went home just to show a presense.
i wasn't fading though, because of my situation i had to play like everything was fine.

towards the end of my time in the cult i did two weird things in relation to field service.
1st i did not take my bookbag. i would just go out with the bible and talk to people(sometimes just the living bible not NWT)
2nd i would not cout time. about 6 months to a year i stopped turning in the time slips.

Is the WTS "refinancing" KH loans?
by doinmypart inmy mom's kh was built last year with a loan from wts.
she was talking about a letter to all congregations with loans from wts.
the letter was asking the publishers how much they can pay towards a refinance.

On the kitchen or pioneer room in halls that was part of the remodelling scam. When they got rid of the interest on KH loans they ramped up the RBC remodeling and had congos taking out loans for remodels.
Here in detroit I know of 3 KH that could not afford the remodelling scam and the congos that use those halls are being forced to move in to other halls and sell the bldg.

in october of 2011, guy pierce reported that plans were moving forward with the construction of the new headquarters complex in warwick and tuxedo.
he mentioned that after the project was finished in 4 years then the society would then sell off the brooklyn properties.

Saw a dub the other day he was telling me they are selling the hall I used to go to. Turns out they could not afford the remodeling scam so they will be combining with another hall. This is the 2nd hall Ive come accross that is up for sale.

by moshe ini was thinking (before i go buy my lottery ticket) , i have probably spent at least an hour of my time on this forum for each of those posts and not your typical kiss-me posts that some people love to fill up the forum with, either.-- 7777 hours is a lot of time and i have been reflecting on this almost eight year voyage- has it been worth it?
for me personally, yes it has.
i learned quite a bit about myself and how other people's thinking process works- if i knew what meds some were on, i wouldn't have wasted my time trying to convince them they aren't the messiah-.

One evening of Internet research can tell a JW all he needs to know about Judge RutherFraud and his Millions now living will never die, Beth Sarim, Princes, 1975, 1914, etc - they can leave under their own steam anytime they choose.
